FAQ

Co-living in Brussels: common questions

How much does co-living in Brussels cost?

From €595/month all-inclusive at TwentySeven: private furnished room, WiFi, utilities.

What is the minimum rental period?

Contracts from 3 months. Most people stay 4 to 12 months. No 3-6-9 Belgian lease.

What is the difference between co-living and a colocation?

In a colocation, you share the lease and split the bills with flatmates. In TwentySeven co-living, you have one contract, one invoice, and a management team handling everything else.

Is co-living available for EU trainees?

Yes. Contracts start at 3 months, which fits a 5-month traineeship, with locations near the European Quarter and in Ixelles, from €595/month. It is the most common profile in our co-living properties.

Can I visit before signing?

Yes. Contact us to arrange a viewing.

Do I need a Belgian bank account or a guarantor?

Not always. It depends on your contract length and nationality. Our team checks this with you before you sign. For the full picture on settling in, see our Expat's Guide to Living in Brussels.

What does "all-inclusive" actually cover here?

Rent, WiFi and utilities. Nothing extra to set up yourself. Some listings call themselves all-inclusive and still leave you sorting out electricity. Here's what that phrase should actually mean.
